  1. As a Moisturizer

Aloe Vera acts as a great moisturizer for skin. The fact that it is so light weight makes it perfect to use as a moisturizer for people with oily/combination skin. It works wonders during those hot and humid summer days when you do not want to lather your skin with heavy moisturizers. After cleansing and toning apply Aloe Vera to your face and massage it well into the skin. This will leave your skin hydrated and moisturized without feeling greasy and sticky.

  1. Hair Mask

Aloe Vera’s conditioning properties makes it a perfect solution to those frizzy hairs. It naturally conditions the hair and makes it softer and shinier. We are all well versed with Curd or Yoghurt’s contribution towards hair but adding aloe Vera gel with it makes it even better. In a bowl add curd and aloe Vera gel together and mix them well. Apply the mixture to your hair, massaging well on the scalp and concentrating the mixture on the ends more as that is the portion which is more prone to dryness and frizziness.

  1. Toning Mist

Toning is neglected a lot in skin care but it is really essential to maintain the ph balance of the skin and to remove the left out dirt after cleansing. Aloe Vera’s astringent properties makes it all the more perfect to be used as a toner. In a spray bottle add rose water and Aloe Vera gel. Make sure the Aloe Vera gel added is not more than two tablespoon. Mix it well before spritzing it on to your face every time.

  1. Face Mask

When it comes to pampering your skin with some TLC, face masks are my go to products be it homemade or store bought. Aloe Vera being one of the most versatile plants goes really well with all sorts of face masks. In a container add turmeric, aloe vera gel and few drops of lemon. Apply it on your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes and cleanse with water post that.

  1. For Exfoliation

In my previous post Homemade Sugar Scrubs I have already mentioned about my love for homemade scrubs. Aloe Vera gel acts as a wonderful agent for foot scrubs. Mix coffee and aloe vera gel together and scrub your feet away. Coffee grounds will help in exfoliating the feet and reducing pigmentation and aloe vera gel will make it all the more smoother and softer.
